DMPS Preschool Enrollment Begins


We’re excited to announce we’re beginning to accept preschool applications for the 2015-2016 school year. Head Start applications are being accepted now and Universal Preschool applications will be accepted beginning March 11. To find out more, click on the image.


Kindergarten Sign-Up Begins March 11


The first day of Kindergarten 2015-2016 will be here before you know it! It’s an exciting time for staff and students, but it all starts with registration. Sign-up begins on March 11. Funds Support Services at Taylor Center


DMPS is going to meet more needs and provide additional services to preschool students and families, thanks to support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The district has been awarded $510,000 “to provide high quality, holistic early childhood education and family support services to children and their families” at the Taylor Education Center. All four Early Childhood buildings hosted Fall Family Events the week of November 17th. On Tuesday, families at the Jesse Franklin Taylor building enjoyed safety activities, family photos and a visit from IPTV’s Dan Wardell.
